What Information We collect From You
We provide a energy monitoring platform that allows you to gain access to your home or business’ energy consumption from various sources but not limited to your energy provider. We’ve built Stumply to help you access your information more conveniently, help you better understand your energy consumption, and to help you make more informed choices when it comes to energy efficiency. By using the Stumply Service we may collect the following types of information:
To access and use certain features of the Stumply Service (e.g. the Stumply App), you may need to register for a Stumply Account (the “Account”) through the available Stumply Service interfaces, namely, the Stumply Apps. During the registration process, you may be asked to provide us with your full name, address, and email address. You may also be asked to choose a username, password and security questions.
After registration, you may also choose to provide utility account login information. If you do so, you authorize us to access your account information, including but not limited to your profile information, full name, username, and utility usage data. If possible we recommend creating a separate login with non-administrative and read-only access to your utility account.
Keep your user login and password confidential. Be wary of emails that ask for personal information. Never provide your password, personal numbers, or login information via email. We will not ask for personal information via email except in response to an email you have sent us. If you receive an unsolicited email asking for personal information please contact us.
